The Department of Electricity and Energy has the Alternative Energy Sources Technology Program (AEK), the Electrical Program (ELK) and the Natural Gas and Installation Technology (GZT) Program. Our department employs 9 faculty members, including 1 Assoc. Prof., 1 Assistant Professor, 3 PhD Lecturers and 4 Lecturers. Our educational activities are carried out in 4 classrooms and 5 workshops belonging to our department.
The number of active students registered in our department is 299 in total, 99 in the Alternative Energy Sources Technology Program, 129 in the Electrical Program and 71 in the Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program, respectively, as of the end of 2024.
According to the YÖK Program Atlas data, the quotas defined in the ÖSYM guide for the year 2024 for our department's programs, the number of students placed and the number of students registered with additional placements were determined as 32/32/28 for the AEK program, 42/41/38 for the ELK program and 32/32/22 for the GZT program, respectively. The placement rate for the programs is 100%, 97.6% and 100%, respectively.
